Why I Started Sidebar
After over 16 years practicing at Big Law firms, I launched Sidebar with a simple goal: to make high-quality legal support more accessible, practical, and aligned with the real-world needs of growing healthcare companies.
Throughout my career, I’ve advised startups, private equity sponsors, and large health systems on complex transactions, regulatory challenges, privacy and operational issues. But I saw firsthand how traditional legal models often fell short—especially for early-stage companies. Legal fees were high and unpredictable. Support was reactive. And the business realities of scaling a healthcare company were too often overlooked.
